The Opportunity

Pairing US depth with African re-rating.

Global Alpha is designed for Africa-connected investors who do not want to choose between home-market opportunity and global diversification.

The African allocation seeks to capture structural growth, reform and mispricing—particularly in Nigeria—while the United States allocation provides liquidity, diversification and exposure to global secular growth themes.

Why pair the two?

Dedicated African funds can be concentrated and less liquid. Broad global funds often provide negligible African exposure. Global Alpha is designed to close that gap through one actively managed portfolio.

Investment Thesis

Structural African Tilt

Africa—Nigeria core—is expected to remain the primary source of differentiated mispricing and re-rating potential.

US Market Ballast

Deep liquidity, quality businesses and global secular themes support diversification and redemption capacity.

High Conviction

Position sizing reflects the strength of the investment case rather than benchmark weights.

Dynamic Allocation

Capital can move as relative valuation, liquidity and macro conditions change.

Portfolio Construction

A strategic tilt, not a fixed split.

The strategy targets 60–70% exposure to African listed markets, anchored by a Nigerian core, and 30–40% to United States listed markets.

Subject to final investment-policy approval, tactical drift may allow a wider 50–80% Africa / 20–50% US range where relative opportunity, valuation, liquidity and macro conditions justify it.

Security Selection

Quality, valuation, catalysts.

US selection emphasises durable competitive advantage, quality of earnings and structural growth themes. African selection draws on local access and research to identify beneficiaries of reform, recapitalisation and market deepening.

Liquidity by Design

The portfolio is built around an open-ended liquidity promise.

African securities can trade with materially thinner liquidity than US equities. Portfolio construction therefore places explicit emphasis on maintaining sufficient liquid exposure to meet reasonably anticipated redemptions without forced selling.

Indicative draft terms contemplate monthly subscriptions and redemptions with 60 days' prior written notice, subject to definitive fund documentation.

Principal Risks
Market Risk

Both US and African equity valuations can be volatile.

Currency Risk

African exposures may fluctuate against the Fund's US-dollar base currency.

Liquidity Risk

African positions can be materially less liquid than US securities.

Concentration Risk

High-conviction sizing may increase position-level volatility.

Allocation Risk

Tactical drift means realised geographic weights may differ materially from strategic targets.

Manager & Execution Risk

Outcomes depend on successful security selection and execution across structurally different markets.
